JOES IMPORTS

At the entrance to Chicago's Fulton Market District, you will find a cozy boutique wine bar called Joes Imports. Whether we visit for small plates and a drink, dining in for dinner or brunching with girlfriends, this spot is one of our favorites for a number of reasons. The staff is AMAZING and you are greeted with warmth and humor! Prior visits presented us the opportunity to meet Joe, who recently passed way. He was passionate and cared about everyone's experience. He was always sure to visit each table and had the best recommendations for dishes and wine pairings.

The MENU has a great variety of choices for all types of eaters. We love to start with a few (NOSHES) and move onto the entrees. You can simply never go wrong with whipped ricotta and toasted ciabatta bread. The parmesan puffs are a must have and the steak tartare with smoke salmon roe is delicious. Be sure to eat your veggies, especially when it comes to these plates! The fried artichoke and stuffed piquillo peppers are full of flavor and addictive! A unique menu piece is the Raviolo (a giant ravioli) filled with duck egg, ricotta, spinach, brown butter, fresh truffle. Yes it tastes as good as it sounds, we promise! If you are looking for a show stopping dish that has amazing flavor, check out the octopus, served with medjool dates, frisee, ‘nduja, piquillo aioli, and almond.

The BRUNCH menu is just as amazing as their dinner selection. Guests can kick off their meal with a personalized bubbly tower. The tower comes with your choice of wine or champagne and includes an assortment of fresh berries, grapes, and your choice of fresh juices & purées. Did we mention they have the BEST sparkling rose too!? We can certainly rose all day at this spot. Some of our favorite menu items are the avocado toast, croque madame and the chicken and waffles.

Next time you are in the West Loop be sure to check out this spot! They were just recognized in 2021 as a Michelin Guide Bib Gourmand! CHEERS!
