Berens Park has something for everyone when it comes to summertime fun. Located in the western suburb of Elmhurst this park has basketball courts, batting cages, a concession stand, football fields, lighted ball and tennis diamonds, a playground, rec building, running trails, sand volleyball courts, a sledding hill, soccer fields, splash pad and MINI GOLF! - Special shoutout to one of our favorites for sharing all the deets from her family visit!

Inside Berens Park, behind the splash pad/spray ground is a cute 18-hole miniature golf course. It’s a small, lush green course perfect for beginners! It’s not quite as big or extravagant as some other places, but it’s perfect for young golfers and great if you’re looking for a fun activity without a huge crowd. Even on the weekend we had the place to ourselves. This course is good for all ages! Residents pay $6 per person while non-residents pay $7. Children under 12 must be accompanied by a parent/legal guardian. After golfing, head to the concession stand for some ice cream or a snow cone, cool off in the splash pad or have some fun in the nearby parks and playground.
