This past weekend we celebrated Remi turning 4!

Recently, we had the pleasure of hosting Remi's golden birthday party at this pizza paradise, and let me tell you, it was a slice of heaven from start to finish. From the moment we arrived, the staff at Pizza Boy Chicago went above and beyond to ensure that our party was a success. Cristina and her husband Carlo own the business, she was easy to work with and had great recommendations throughout the planning process. They recently added a party room that fits 50-60 people. Additional space is located right outside the party room doors for larger guest lists. The space is decorated beautifully and equipped with televisions which came in handy during march madness streaming basketball and baseball games.

Now, let's talk about the main event: the pizza-making experience. Pizza Boy Chicago offers a unique and interactive pizza-making experience that is sure to delight kids of all ages. Each child was provided with their own dough, sauce and an array of toppings to unleash their creativity. From gooey cheese to pepperoni smiles, the possibilities are endless. As the pizzas baked, the kids were treated to a variety of fun activities to keep them entertained. We ordered pizza-themed coloring sheets from Etsy and had a face painter to keep the kids excited during the downtown.

We brought in a cake and cookies but this spot also offers a selection of delectable desserts to satisfy even the sweetest tooth. The kids loved the creamy gelato, there was something for everyone to enjoy.

Desserts: 

Danielle from Pretty Yummy made the most creative and delicious Pizza themed cookies for the party. Danielle is always consistent and gives guests something to talk about. I am so grateful to my friends who passed along her information. We always get excited for a new theme and they come individually wrapped. We couldn't recommend her more! We ordered cake the from Marianos!

Vendors:

Unlike last year's big birthday celebration, I did not have to coordinator a bunch of vendors. This was a huge relief. No ball pit or bounce house! Although we did have a returning favorite. Rika was our face painter extraordinaire and she did an amazing job! Rika was at Remi's party last year and we have seen her on a number of occasions at our friends celebrations. She is always consistent and dependable. I love how kind and patient she is with the kids and makes sure each kid gets what they want! She is beautifully artistic and comes with a menu making it easy for the kids to choose their favorite graphic.

Decorations: 

I absolutely LOVED my balloons! I have made my balloon arches and pieces for previous parties. I did not want to stress over the décor and so chose to use an outside vendor. I couldn't be happier with how the pieces turned out. Tatiana from Pretty Little Party Planner is the BEST! She did Remi's party last year and is so easy work with. Tatiana made the most beautiful balloon garland to go around the outside of the party room. This made Remi's pizza/sprinkle party dreams come true! She sent me some options and I was able to choose what design and patterns I liked best. We decided to add to end pieces to the end of the long catering table and hang "four ever golden" as the focal point in the room.

April 4th was Remi's actual birthday which fell on a Thursday. I took off work and we spent the day getting lost in balloons and tea parties. We went to her favorite restaurant for chips & salsa and chicken tacos. Finished off the day with cake and some birthday book before bed. Planning this year's party was so easy and fun. Remi had the best time. Three hours flew by in the blink of an eye!
