Five Fall Trends to Fall in Love With
Labor Day marks the unofficial end to summer and while Amanda is sad to see it go Katie is all pumpkin spice and everything nice! One thing we can both agree on is we LOVE Fall fashion. As the seasons change we turned to our resident fashion expert, Bianca with Adesso, to help us transition our closets and get ready for the cooler temps. She curated five fall trends everyone should and will be wearing this year. So put down the mini pumpkins, hold off planting your mums and hanging orange string lights and decorate YOURSELF in these fashions (PSL not included)! The only thing scary about spooky season is not looking and feeling your best.
Top 5 Fall Trends
1. Knit Cropped Sweaters
Cable-knit sweaters are pretty much a seasonal staple at this point, but for this fall, spotted full cable-knit looks ultimately stand out as the knitwear look of the season. From sweaters, dresses, to matching sets, if you're covered in cables, you're doing something right!
2. COLOR.
Expect to see lots of vibrant colors. Rather than a standout hue, seeing saturated shades in a rainbow of colors. Wear one color from head to toe for maximum impact. Vibrant colors are transitioning into a fall staple. Colors to really see- lavender and green.
3. Y2K prints
The Gen Z set is reviving looks from the early 2000s. This time around, though, Gen Z's interpretation of the trends is taking center stage. The Y2K aesthetic is radically distinctive and inspired by the mid-’90s and early 2000. This style is typically quite futuristic with a slightly retro edge – think shiny materials, chunky sneakers, pleated skirts, baguette bags, and colorful sunglasses.
4.Boots and Dresses /Cowboy boots
From traditional black leather to metallic silver, the trick to this trend is tapping into the Western appeal of cowboy boots—think old-school Americana and dimly lit saloons—with your style. But it’s important to remember to have fun with this style and not take it too seriously. After all, it was called the Wild West for a reason.
5. A Feminine touch, lace & ruffles
I think everyone can wear it, you just have to keep the balance and carefully combine it with your everyday outfits. It’s no wonder why, as it looks romantic, ultra feminine and classic. Fashion bloggers and fashionistas mix lace with slouchy silhouettes, combining it with leather, and casual sneakers.
