They offer a variety of services from manicure/pedicures to massages and facials! There is definitely something for everyone. We can bet any family member will fully support a massage that will help release mom's muscle tension, and increase circulation sending her home in a happy and tranquil mood.

No time for the spa, no problem. Bring the spa home with these skincare gift ideas for the special women in your life. Our favorite local woman owned shop, Scratch Goods, created intuitive product combo kits that makes gifting even easier. We recommend the mask starter kit and self-care kit. All products are locally sourced, handmade, sustainable, natural and food grade. Scratch Good is part of our daily skincare routine and always comes to mind when we need a gift! A mother's day gift is a great time to give new beauty and skincare products. Try giving some trendy products that your mom wouldn't typically splurge on or give her some of your favs to try. Getting new makeup and beauty products is always exciting. Got someone on your list that is really challenging to buy for? Our go to for that is the Sephora perfume gift sets. The great thing about purchasing flowers is there are several online options for gifting distant caregivers. We always try to find a local shop that delivers too (thanks Google for the help)! Our go-to in Chicago is Steve's Flower Market. Not into flowers? Try gifting a plant! With beautiful weather in our near future a plant is a lovely addition to any indoor or outdoor space. Not into plants or flowers? Send an edible arrangement! Something beautiful and delicious.

Personalized Sweats

Looking for a personalized gift or sweet treat? Contact our favorite cookie and sweat treat creators for some delicious baked goods. Danielle from Pretty Yummy bakes the most delicious cookies. Request some in the shape of a flower or with your mom's initials. She is ideal if you live in the burbs. Another cookie creator we have used, Simply Sweet Caroline's. for city residents. Toni from Shweetcakes can help make your Mother's Day special by creating cake pops, rice crispy treats, pretzel sticks or breakable chocolate art!

Hair Care

A great way to support a local and small business this Mother's Day is to purchase a gift card from the salon your giftee frequents. Maybe this will push them to try something new or purchase an add on treatment they would typically skip. A day at the salon is comparable to a spa day. No kids while we get pampered? Sign us up! If you're looking to purchase hair care products as a gift look no further than Olaplex or K18. They have several sets to choose from or products can be bought individually. We swear by their "bond building" ingredients and have noticed a substantial difference in our hair health. Another go-to hair product we can't live without is our Dyson hair dryer. It is engineered to protect the hair from heat damage and dries our (long, thick, wavy) hair in half the time of a traditional dryer. It is a splurge, but worth every penny! Unfortunately, our hair post pregnancy was a struggle so we love these gift ideas. A cute gift idea is hair accessories like claw clips, silk scrunchies, heatless curlers or a silk pillowcase to keep hair healthy.
